Okta Engineer (Mid-Level)

We are looking for an Okta Engineer to join our Modern Identity team. We are looking for someone with hands-on Okta experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and an interest in developing their consulting expertise in a customer-facing environment.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in IAM, with hands-on experience in Okta;
• Good understanding of IAM concepts, including authentication, authorization, access control, and lifecycle management;
• Working knowledge of SAML, OAuth, OIDC, and SCIM;
• Experience with Okta, particularly SSO, MFA, Universal Directory, and Lifecycle Management;
• Experience configuring Okta policies, access rules, and workflows;
• Experience integrating Okta with SaaS platforms and enterprise applications;
• Good technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills;
• Basic knowledge of PowerShell, Python, or APIs;
• Good communication skills and ability to work with customers and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain Okta environments according to customer requirements;
• Support SSO, MFA, Universal Directory, and Lifecycle Management implementations;
• Troubleshoot authentication, federation, and integration issues;
• Support Okta integrations with applications and systems;
• Work directly with customers to understand and resolve IAM challenges;
• Create technical documentation and troubleshooting guides;
• Collaborate with senior consultants and technical teams on IAM projects.
