SailPoint Team Lead / Technical Lead (Lisbon)

Join our growing Cybersecurity team as a SailPoint Team Lead / Technical Lead and play a key role in delivering strategic Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) solutions for international customers.

In this role, you’ll combine technical leadership with people management and customer engagement, driving the successful delivery of complex SailPoint implementations while mentoring a team of IAM consultants. You’ll work closely with customers to understand their business needs, define solution architectures, and ensure the delivery of scalable, secure, and high-quality Identity Governance solutions.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field;
• 5+ years of experience in Identity & Access Management (IAM), with strong expertise in SailPoint IdentityIQ;
• Proven experience designing, implementing, and delivering SailPoint IdentityIQ solutions in enterprise environments;
• Experience leading technical teams, mentoring consultants, and coordinating project delivery;
• Strong background in solution architecture and technical design for IAM/IGA projects;
• Solid programming skills (Java or similar) and experience developing custom SailPoint components;
• Hands-on experience integrating SailPoint with Active Directory, LDAP, databases, cloud platforms, and enterprise applications;
• Strong understanding of Identity Governance, Identity Lifecycle Management, Access Certification, Provisioning, RBAC, and Joiner/Mover/Leaver processes;
• Experience working with REST/SOAP APIs, automation, and custom integrations;
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc.) and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes) is considered an advantage;
• Knowledge of security frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, and OWASP;
• Excellent communication skills in English, with experience managing customer relationships and stakeholder expectations.

• Lead and mentor a team of SailPoint consultants, providing technical guidance, coaching, and support for their professional development;
• Act as the primary technical point of contact for customers, building trusted relationships and ensuring successful project delivery;
• Design solution architectures and define best practices for SailPoint IdentityIQ implementations;
• Lead end-to-end IAM/IGA projects, from requirements gathering and solution design to implementation, deployment, and hypercare;
• Remain actively involved in the technical delivery by developing custom integrations, workflows, rules, connectors, and automation when required;
• Collaborate with security, infrastructure, application, and business teams to design scalable Identity Governance solutions;
• Drive technical decision-making, perform architecture and code reviews, and ensure adherence to development standards and IAM best practices;
• Support project planning, resource allocation, risk management, and delivery governance alongside project management teams;
• Promote continuous improvement across delivery processes, technical frameworks, and team capabilities;
• Ensure compliance with security standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational best practices.
