Senior Okta Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Okta Engineer to join our Modern Identity  team. The ideal candidate will combine strong Okta expertise with consulting and customer-facing experience, taking ownership of technical solutions and helping customers address complex IAM challenges.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in IAM, including 3+ years of focused Okta experience;
• Strong understanding of IAM principles, access control, authentication, authorization, and lifecycle management;
• In-depth knowledge of SAML, OAuth, OIDC, and SCIM;
• Strong hands-on experience with Okta SSO, MFA, Universal Directory, API Access Management, and Lifecycle Management;
• Experience configuring Okta policies, workflows, and access rules;
• Proven experience integrating Okta with SaaS platforms, enterprise systems, APIs, and custom applications;
• Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills;
• Experience with automation using PowerShell, Python, and/or APIs;
• Ability to translate business requirements into effective IAM solutions;
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of Okta solutions;
• Own complex IAM troubleshooting and technical issues;
• Design and support SSO, MFA, Universal Directory, LCM, and API integrations;
• Advise customers on IAM solutions aligned with their business and security needs;
• Manage customer expectations and act as a key technical point of contact;
• Drive automation and continuous improvement of IAM processes;
• Create technical documentation and best-practice guidelines;
• Support and mentor junior consultants when required.
